Bay Lake Tower: Open Mouse

It's been a very long while since my last post, but I'm horrible at keeping this type of thing up so really it should be no surprise.

Yesterday I went to the Open Mouse of Bay Lake Tower, the new DVC resort. It was absolutely amazing, and I took a ton of pictures. Here are just a few

All Moved In

I've been moved in for almost two weeks now, and I'm finally all settled in. Here is a quick recap of my first days here.

Florida welcomed me and all the other new arrivals with a lovely downpour. Over the next few days I moved in all of my stuff in between rain showers and scheduled activities.

Traditions went well after Disney straightened out a few mix-ups. Tony Mendez was my Traditions leader and he was awesome. He really helped get everybody pumped up about starting work and told us a few guest interaction stories of his own. One of the main points that Tony stressed was that at some point during our internships every single one of us would change somebody's life. Now, I know that change could be small, but just the idea is amazing.

Four days ago I finished "earning my ears" aka training, so now I'm getting used to being a regular cast member. I work over at Peter Pan and It's a Small World. Peter Pan gives me some good exercise and thankfully the It's a Small World song hasn't gotten stuck in my head yet! Phew!

I know that this recap was super fast and that I left a bunch of information out, but hopefully I'll keep this blog updated from now on.

-as always
